Night 1: Cable Beach Club, Broome
Arrive into Broome and join the hotel's bus transfer to the luxurious Cable Beach Club. This afternoon you can relax and slip into 'Broome time', exploring Chinatown and Cable Beach prior to meeting your guide for this evening for your official 'welcome' and pre-departure meet-up.

Day 1/Night 2: Broome, Fitzroy Crossing, Geikie Gorge cruise
The adventure begins! Departing from your Broome accommodation after breakfast, we journey to Fitzroy Crossing to join a local Ranger on a fascinating guided cruise through Geikie Gorge, carved by the Fitzroy River through an ancient limestone barrier reef. Encounter wildlife such as freshwater crocodiles, birds and fish.

Day 2/Night 3: Fitzroy Crossing, China Wall, Halls Creek, Bungles
Onward to the remarkable China Wall, a sub-vertical quartz vein protruding up to 6m from the earth's surface. Next stop is the pioneering gold rush town of Halls Creek before continuing on to our overnight accommodation deep in the heart of Purnululu National Park (the Bungle Bungles).

Day 3/Night 4: Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungles)
Today we explore the World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park. Marvel at the majesty of Cathedral Gorge and test out the acoustics of this natural amphitheatre. Enjoy breathtaking views from Piccaninny Creek lookout and admire the striped patterns of the beehive domes. Travel to Echidna Chasm, a spectacular natural cleft in the rock. For a unique aerial perspective of the national park there is an option to join a helicopter flight (additional cost). Witness the rocks change colour at sunset and fall asleep to the sounds of the bush under a blanket of a million stars.

Day 4/Night 5: Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungles), Warmun art centre, Lake Argyle
We continue to explore Purnululu National Park this morning before exiting the park and heading to Kununurra, via Warmun Aboriginal art centre (if open). Warmun gallery displays and sells outstanding paintings by emerging and established artists. This afternoon we cross the Diversion Dam and travel through Kununurra and onward to Lake Argyle.

Day 5/Night 6: Lake Argyle, Ord River cruise
This morning you will cruise Lake Argyle, stopping on an island for lunch and a swim.  Listen to a personalised commentary from your Lake Argyle skipper and spot for crocodiles, birdlife and rock wallabies. You will drive across the Ord Top Dam wall and see the Ord Hydro-Power Station before boarding the a scenic 55km boat cruise back to Kununurra. Enjoy spectacular scenery, wildlife, flora and fauna along the way, including the elusive freshwater crocodile! Take in a colourful East Kimberley sunset before docking back at the Marina and re-boarding your coach for your accommodation drop-off.

Day 6/Night 7: Kununurra
Enjoy a 3 hour tour of Kununurra including the Ord Valley this morning or this afternoon. Some free time in Kununurra today to relax by Lily Lagoon, wander through town, stock up on supplies, wash clothing and prepare for the next leg of the journey ... the mighty Gibb River Road!

Day 7/Night 8: Gibb River Road, El Questro: Zebedee springs, El Questro gorge
Cross Kununurra's Diversion Dam and enter the famous Gibb River Road. Today's highlights include: Zebedee thermal springs, a series of pools cascading into each other set within sheer cliffs and local vegetation; El Questro gorge - walk to a picturesque swimming hole known as 'halfway pool' then (depending on your fitness level) on to Mackmicking Pool; Enjoy lunch at El Questro's famous Steakhouse on the banks of the Pentecost River; Swim in the creek by the Steakhouse then head up to a scenic lookout point for sundowners.

Day 8/Night 9: Emma Gorge, Pentecost River crossing, Home Valley Station
This morning we will walk to the picturesque amphitheatre waterfall of Emma Gorge (approx 40 mins -1 hour walk each way) for a swim and morning tea. Those who don't want to hike can enjoy the shaded poolside cafe area at Emma Gorge Resort. Depart El Questro and stop for photos at the spectacular Pentecost River enroute to Home Valley Station. Stop at Luhrmann's Lookout, named after film director Baz Luhrmann who's movie 'Australia' was primarily set in this part of the Kimberley. Lunch at Dusty Bar and Grill then relax in the shaded pool area or join an optional helicopter flight over the spectacular Cockburn Ranges.

Day 9/Night 10: Bindoola Falls, Ellenbrae Station, Mt. Elizabeth
Continuing down the Gibb we visit Bindoola Falls then continue on to Ellenbrae Station for a relaxing morning tea amongst their lovely gardens. Our guide takes us to a few local secrets before we continue down the mighty Gibb to our overnight accommodation at Mt. Elizabeth Station.

Day 10/Night 11: Manning Gorge, Galvan's Gorge, Bell Gorge
Continuing down the Gibb, next is Manning Gorge for a leisurely walk and then a swim in the beautiful river and waterfall. Then on to Galvan's Gorge, always a favourite stop-over for a swim and photos. Here, a short walk leads to a picturesque waterhole where boab trees cling to the escarpment above and Wandjina rock art adorns the gorge walls. We continue down the mighty Gibb to 'the jewel of the Gibb' - Bell Gorge. Here, stunning cliffs surround a series of tiered waterholes. You can enjoy some birdwatching or take a refreshing dip in the in the lower pool of the gorge below the cascading waterfall.

Day 11/Night 12: Windjana Gorge, Tunnel Creek, Broome
This morning we head to Windjana Gorge, where we can spot freshwater crocodiles lazing on the banks of the Lennard River. Windjana Gorge is over three kilometres long with 300 feet-high walls which are part of an ancient Devonian reef system. At nearby Tunnel Creek we wade through the cool waters of the cave by torchlight. Tunnel Creek National Park was the famous hideout used late last century by the Aboriginal leader Jandamarra. Onward to Broome where our journey concludes. We'll meet up at Cable Beach's Sunset Bar for drinks and farewells.

Day 12: Farewell Broome
Sadly, it's time to say farewell to Broome for your onward flight (there are daily flights to Darwin and Broome, or regular flights to Perth). Cable Beach Club include your airport transfer.
